Hi, I’m Sarah Alsady, the woman behind Zenelle

Here’s my story: For 12 years I had a successful career in the corporate world. During this time, I also gave birth to three wonderful children. When my third child was born in 2016, my whole world turned upside down. I suddenly had to quit my job and move to Saudi Arabia where I became a housewife.
I was at a big turning point in my life. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mum but ONLY being a mother with no professional goal in sight simply wasn’t enough for me and sent me into a spiralling depression.

My inner battle to pull myself out of this became a journey of self-discovery through which I connected to my true passions and full potential. I began to explore things I hadn't had time for in the hustle and bustle of corporate life. I taught myself to cook creatively, I started exercising to strengthen muscles that had become soft from years of sitting in an office chair, and I threw away the damaging hair tools I had been using to tame my bouncy curls to make myself look more "professional". I was at the beginning of an exciting journey that in 2020 took me to the breathtaking island of Bali and encouraged me to launch Zenelle, a clothing line that combines all my values in a timeless fashion.

You may be wondering what "Zenelle" means. I actually created this name to express the concept of "Zen of a centred woman". My wish with Zenelle is for every woman to feel relaxed, confident and beautiful in her own natural skin. I want to challenge women to embrace and celebrate their natural feminine beauty every day and to choose nature over the noise of what looks "trendy". Using natural materials & dyes that are kind to our skin and empowering the women who make them were an absolute MUST for me.
